Emmaburnsworth
Emma is homeschooled and has been playing the harp for 7 years. She is 15 years old. Emma is studying under Nella Rigell, Principal harpist for the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra. Recently, Emma won first place in the International Maestro String and Piano Competition and played a solo in the winner's concert at Carnegie Hall. Emma has also played for the Governor of Georgia at his Christmas event at the Governor's mansion in 2018 and was invited to play again in 2019. She has played in various Master Classes for Rita Costanzi, Maria Luisa Rayan, Jacqueline Bartlett, and Kirsten Copely. Emma has attended the UNCSA Summer Harp Intensive program in 2017 and 2018 where she did extensive solo and ensemble work. She plays regularly for the church, weddings, funerals, and events such as grand openings and various Christmas events. She has also arranged and played a program for the Daughters of the American Revolution. Emma enjoys using her music to bless others especially elderly shut-ins and those who are terminally ill.
