Frances Wilson is a London-based pianist, writer, concert reviewer, piano teacher and blogger on music and pianism as The Cross-Eyed Pianist. A keen concert-goer, Frances reviews for her blog and also for international concert and opera listings site Bachtrack.com. She writes a regular column on aspects of piano playing for 'Pianist' magazine's online content, and is a guest blogger for HelloStage and InterludeHK. She has also contributed guest articles to Clavier Companion, Musical Orbit and The Sampler, the blog of SoundandMusic.org, the UK charity for new music. Frances holds Licentiate and Associate Diplomas (both with Distinction) in piano performance from Trinity College of Music, London. She has studied with Penelope Roskell and is currently studying with Graham Fitch. She has participated in masterclasses with Murray McLachlan, Carlo Grante and Norma Fisher, and taken private tuition from Alan Fraser and James Lisney.
